Our Story

Danara and Sasha are a couple and a creative team, brought together by a shared love for New York, and for the idea of creating something truly special. We’re immigrants from the former Soviet Union who fell in love with this city long before we ever moved here for good.

New York has always been a source of inspiration for us — its rhythm, its architecture, its energy, and that constant feeling that anything is possible. We used to visit often, and every time, we noticed the same thing: despite the endless souvenir shops, it was surprisingly hard to find something truly aesthetic, meaningful, and creative to take home — something that captured the real spirit of the city.

Two years ago, Danara came up with the idea of making candles shaped like iconic New York landmarks — the ones you can’t help but fall in love with. That’s where our journey began. We spent months experimenting, creating, and getting inspired — and now, here we are.
